As artificial intelligence continues reshaping industries across the globe, one thing remains clear at Dudley Beauty College: beauty and human connection cannot be replaced by technology.
In a recent feature by FOX 32 Chicago, Dudley Beauty College School Director Betty Clawson highlighted the positive impact the cosmetology profession has had on Chicago’s South Side.
The interview also highlighted a major milestone for the institution. Dudley Beauty College was selected as one of only 10 cosmetology schools nationwide to receive funding through the BeyGOOD Foundation x Cécred Scholarship Fund. As part of the initiative, each participating school will receive a $25,000 grant to support aspiring beauty professionals and expand educational opportunities within the industry.
Since 1993, Clawson has led Dudley Beauty College with a commitment to excellence and empowerment in beauty education. The school’s impact is reflected in its impressive alumni network, including the esthetician and hairstylist of Former First Lady Michelle Obama, both proud Dudley graduates.
