In immediate response to the COVID-19 pandemic, BeyGOOD provided free COVID-19 testing, household essentials, and supplies to those in need in Houston. Thanks to a generous donation from Jack Dorsey and the #StartSmall initiative, BeyGOOD granted a total of $6 million to organizations providing personal wellness care and other mental health services to those navigating the pandemic. With support from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), BeyGOOD offered local assistance in New York, New Orleans, Detroit and Houston. UCLA also joined forces with BeyGOOD and #StartSmall to create an online COVID-19 Care Package to help people struggling with stress and anxiety exacerbated by the pandemic.
