RENAISSANCE Scholars

Alongside the announcement of the RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR, BeyGOOD launched the RENAISSANCE Scholars Program, committing nearly $1 million in scholarships across 10 colleges and universities along the tour route. Awarded to more than 100 students across the participating schools, scholarship amounts varied with awards ranging up to $10,000 per student. These schools included:

  • Alabama State University
  • Bahia State University
  • Boston City Campus – Soweto
  • Community College of Philadelphia
  • Detroit School for Digital Technology
  • Dillard University
  • Grambling State University
  • Institut Français de la Mode
  • Jackson State University
  • Prairie View A&M University

RENAISSANCE Scholarship Recipient Spotlight: Jordan Braithwaite (Grambling State University) 

"Through this scholarship, I was able to confidently complete my final year of undergrad debt-free, which lifted a significant financial burden and allowed me to excel academically ultimately where I graduated as valedictorian. This financial freedom also enabled me to focus my energy on creating a lasting legacy that reflects my unwavering dedication to community empowerment," Braithwaite said.
