Our
Mission

Our mission is our legacy. To date, BeyGOOD has helped build a more equitable future by funding innovative programs that serve marginalized and under-resourced youth. Alongside educational scholarships, entrepreneurial grants, and community response efforts, this work has expanded globally. BeyGOOD continues to act as a bridge, expanding access to resources and opportunities that empower young people to create, express themselves, and shape their futures.

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter

Mrs. Beyoncé Knowles-Carter is a global entertainer and philanthropist whose work is rooted in service, compassion, and the belief that we can all do GOOD in our communities to create meaningful change. As a young girl attending St. John’s United Methodist Church, Mrs. Knowles-Carter was motivated to serve unhoused neighbors in Houston’s Downtown.

Since then, she has built a decades-long legacy advancing housing stability, hunger relief, disaster recovery, education, and economic opportunity. From supporting permanent housing initiatives and addiction recovery programs to helping provide millions of meals through strategic partnerships, her philanthropic work reflects a sustained commitment to meeting urgent needs while investing in long-term solutions.

Through BeyGOOD, her philanthropic initiative started in 2013, Mrs. Knowles-Carter has expanded that impact globally through scholarships, entrepreneurship, emergency relief, and community-based investments.

Her humanitarian leadership has earned international recognition and is an extension of her charitable heart. Through visionary giving and sustained action, BeyGOOD continues to advance opportunities for individuals and communities while building a lasting legacy of social impact.
